The most sensitive finger on the human hand is the index finger.

The fastest growing nail is on the middle finger.

White Flour Repellant

March 12th, 2008

White flour is made by stripping the grain of virtually all its nutrients. That is, its fibers, vitamins, minerals, essential oils and also it proteins. With all these stripped away, it now becomes a depleted, “dead’ food which is enriched as required, with thiamin, riboflavin and a few other nutrients.

This is why eating white flour products and white flour itself, consumers have digestive problems because it has no fiber.

The ants are more food smart than human beings it that,  if some white flour was sprinkles in an area where ants live, they would start gathereing for food, but realizing that this was inediblethey become confused and start going around in circles before leaving the scene. They would not even touch the stuff.

Something to learn. Use this next time when you need a repellent,  because white flour makes a better insect repellent than food!

Where Do We Go From Here?

February 25th, 2008

We eat everyday to have life, but what type of food are eating? Are we eating food that is healthy and not food that is destroying us?

In today’s world we hear of genetically engineered food, but can we identify them? Where do we find them? They are everywhere that we shop if we are not able to get certified organic food to buy. We are bombarded on every side, but there are watchdogs who do have our interest at heart. We are so thankful for them. Is it too late to stop the manufacturers of genetically engineered  or genetically modified foods? Maybe, but there is still hope. As consumers we have the right to demand food that will not harm or kill us to say the least.

For years Technical Experts have repeatedly warned that GM(genetically modified) foods might create unpredictable, hard to detect side effects including, allergies, toxins, new diseases and nutritional problems. Still thousands of acres of seeds were planted which were genetically engineered, although nations and consumers objected. No one listened until now it is too late. Too late because contamination has become widespread. These damaged the organs of the lab animals,so what about the consumers who unknowingly bought and ate these foods.

Physicians who have studied the subject are convinced that the dangers are real and are now prescribing non-GMO diets. One ENT (ear, nose and throat ) and allergy specialist has said he used to test for soy allergies all the time, but now that soy is genetically engineered (modified), it is so dangerous that he tells pepople never to eat soy unless it is ‘organic’.

That makes sense, and this does not apply only to soy, it should be applied to all the food that we buy to eat. The safe way to a healthy life, read labels and keep away from harmful foods. This cannot be over-emphasized. Good health to all.
